Pickleball Clinic: Doubles Pickleball Third Shot Strategy: When to Drive and When to Drop

The “Third Shot” in doubles pickleball is one of the most important shots for

the team serving the ball. A good third shot will set up your team with a

chance to win the point while a bad one will end the rally quickly. 

In this clinic we will learn how to decide and execute when to drive and when

to drop the ball after the opponents return of serve using different scenarios.

45 minutes instruction followed by 30 minutes of play.

*This clinic is for the player who has a good handle on all the basics of the

game and plays regularly. Players will be placed according to similar ability.
