Designed to provide individuals with basic skills and knowledge needed to safely handle handguns and will include firearm range rules and guidelines when shooting. Proper fundamentals of firing handguns, designed to improve a shooter’s abilities and confidence.

About the event
Perfect for future firearms owners, who don’t own yet or who have questions about which type of handgun to purchase. Perfect for those who have questions about types and uses of handguns for home defense, concealed carry, FL’s new “open carry” laws, etc. Perfect for the experienced or novice handgun owner who needs a refresher course regarding range safety, rules and courtesies.
Instructor:
John Solek – Retired Law Enforcement Officer (35 years) and Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor (20 years); trained in tactical operations of handguns, rifles and shotguns. Current instructor for several Regency residents. Current Range Safety Officer for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
