Yoga Foundations

Yoga practice is just that - a practice. It is not a performance and there is no end-point to achieve. However, it can be helpful for the evolution of your practice to take some time to learn (or re-visit) the basics.

Each time you arrive on your mat your practice can look and feel a little different, as you bring an ever-changing body and set of mental circumstances with you. Sometimes you’ll experience more tightness or inflexibility today versus yesterday, or on your left side versus your right, or less balance or more fatigue or mental chatter than your last class. This is enough to make you question whether or not you are “doing it right” and you may even find yourself comparing your practice to others’ - this is normal, but not necessary.
